Alara, a newly matured falcon female was now of the age she had to leave her parents roost. Most females her age would have found a mate to love and look after them. Most of all provide them with home and the ability to begin their own family. However she never met a man that fit her own tight criteria.
"He's too dull, complicated history, too quiet, not enough experience, cares too much." She always found some excuse as to why she would not accept a male into her life. Perhaps she simply had independancy issues. But now her lack of interest has left her living alone in a makeshift home in the dangerous lands above the Arie's cliff side. Though she continues to spend most of her day in popular public gatherings, hoping to find someone that catches her interest.
Unfortunately for her, she has gotten a name for herself among the men in her age group. No one wants to even try, knowing she will only cast them aside for one excuse or another. Most of them now ignore her.
She sits inside the Birds version of a bar, sitting alone next to a lovely patch of decorative flowers growing out of hanging pots. Alara is now contemplating leaving Byrin to start a life away from their hectic traditions. Doing so will let her family down, and most likely sever their ties. She is struggling with this personal choice in silence.
